Hand-poured Calendar Pillar Candle, beeswax

Hand-poured calendar pillar candle made from pure beeswax. The candle measures 4 cm in diameter and is approximately 28 cm long.

The beeswax is part of the Danish Green Pool programme, meaning it comes from apiaries where neither pesticides nor antibiotics are used.

The number strip is free from heavy metals and solvents, ensuring that no harmful substances are released when the candle burns.

Each candle is handmade in BISTAD’s own production, which also provides meaningful work for people in vulnerable situations. As a result, small variations may occur from one candle to another. These variations have no effect on the quality of the candle — they are simply part of the charm of a handmade product.

Over time, beeswax candles naturally develop a light, whitish coating on the surface. This is a completely natural characteristic of beeswax and can easily be removed with the warmth of your hands. It does not affect the way the candle burns.

For the best and safest burn, trim the wick regularly. This will help prevent the candle from producing soot. It is also important to keep the candle away from drafts.
