Four small delicious and superinformative guides gathered in one for nature's edible plants.
Behind Den Lille Vilde, which is not just one, but four small guide books gathered in a nice box, are Denmark's most famous collection expert, Thomas Laursen, and the photographer Jannick Børlum.
The books are divided according to the four seasons of the wild plants - the very early spring, spring, summer and late summer - and describe the most important herbs, flowers, berries and fruits that we can collect and use in the kitchen. The four books are ready to put in your pocket separately and take with you on the gathering or just the ordinary walk in nature. They are divided into the different biotopes, so it is easy to find and identify the individual plants.
Each plant is clearly indicated with a picture of the plant itself and one of the plant at the growing site in the particular season that the book covers. There is also a short informative text which helps one to identify the plant and tell about its possible use.
